EMDR & Somatic Therapy
EMDR and somatic therapy serve as pathways to healing, benefiting both the mind and body. Similar to physical wounds, emotional scars can naturally heal. Yet, when disruptions occur, emotional distress may persist.
Just as a physical wound can worsen if obstructed by foreign objects or repeated irritation, emotional wounds can deepen when disturbing events disrupt the mind's natural processing.
Picture this: when you cut your hand, your body begins healing, but if there's repeated irritation, the wound can become infected and painful. Likewise, when disturbing events disrupt mental processing, emotional wounds can fester, causing intense suffering.
By addressing these obstacles through EMDR and somatic therapy, individuals can support a return to the body's innate healing mechanisms, fostering balance and well-being.

However you decide to use clinical consultation is up to you. This is your time for you to focus on exploring your personal process as it relates to the work you do in your therapy practice.
